VERIFY BEFORE TRAVEL
Sources & credits
Stable collection context and changeable visitor facts are researched differently.
Official visitor sources
Begin with the official websites of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Egyptian Museum in Cairo, National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and Egypt’s monuments portal. For Nubian heritage context, consult UNESCO’s Nubian campaign record.
What must be checked live
Opening periods, last admission, active entrances, gallery closures, object locations, photography and bag rules, accessible routes and transport conditions can change. The profiles deliberately omit prices and never function as admission confirmation.
Comparison method
Suggested visit lengths are editorial planning ranges, not institutional promises. Display density, scale and “best for” labels are comparative judgments explained in each profile. Accessibility is never inferred from a building’s age; readers are directed to confirm specific services.
